Training course (TCT) is a study module for active- and student teachers. It responds to the persisting need to improve expert support at the tertiary level and in the context of professional development. TCT takes into account the contemporary media landscape, a phenomenon which stretches far beyond traditional ICT subjects. Hence, it provides a missing link in the objective to empower teachers regardless of the school subject they have decided to teach at schools. Rather than being subject-oriented, it focuses teachers’ and students’ attention at principles behind the media phenomena and therefore invites them to independently shape their approach according to development stages of children they are working with.
